Sharon practices exclusively family law and has in depth experience in custody, access, child and spousal support, divorce, property issues and domestic contracts. She regularly appears in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Sharon has effectively represented clients in high conflict disputes, guiding them through one of the most difficult and emotional times of their life. Sharon is an aggressive advocate on behalf of her clients who prides herself in always advocating obtaining the best possible results for her clients through the court system.
Sharon is equally equipped to negotiate settlements out of court. Sharon is a trained Collaborative lawyer and is a member of the Brant-Haldimand Norfolk Collaborative Family Law practice group. Sharon is an excellent listener and has the skills necessary to negotiate “win-win” agreements for her clients. Sharon is committed to resolving matters for her clients in the most cost-efficient manner.
Sharon was born and raised in Birmingham, England. She obtained her LL.B. (with honours) at the University of Birmingham. Sharon moved to Canada in 1996 and completed her accreditation studies at the University of Toronto. Sharon articled at Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP in 1998-1999 and joined the firm as an associate in 2000 upon her call to the Bar. Sharon was admitted into the partnership in 2008. She is also very active in the Brantford community serving on various boards and committees.
