Steven Portelli

Steven Portelli is a corporate commercial lawyer whose practice encompasses the development of various business structures (including incorporations and partnerships), reorganizations, amalgamations, mergers, acquisitions, financing, franchises and other business related agreements. Steven also practices in commercial and residential real estate, municipal law, wills and estate planning and estate administration.

Steven practiced in the corporate department of a major law firm in Toronto specializing in private and public company mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters prior to his return to his hometown of Brantford where he joined Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP as an associate in 2004 and a partner in 2008.

Steven is actively involved in various community activities and is currently on the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant and the Boys’ & Girls’ Club of Brantford and a member of the Physician Recruitment Task Force for Brantford and Brant.

Steven is a graduate of McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. He completed his law degree at Queen’s University in 2000 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. He is a member of the Canadian, Ontario and Brant County Law Associations.
