Peter Quinlan

Peter Quinlan's practice involves advising our clients on most aspects of civil litigation with an emphasis on employment law and personal injury claims. Peter is one of the few local lawyers with experience before the Labor Relations Board. He prefers to take a proactive approach especially in employment circumstances in order to resolve matters before they become litigation problems.

Peter enjoys a reputation for winning difficult cases. His goal is to achieve the best settlement possible while keeping his clients out of Court. If settlement is not possible, he is very comfortable participating in the Court Room battle. Peter also has an outstanding record before the Appellate Courts of Ontario and is willing to take on tough legal arguments.

Peter has been very active in the local community being heavily involved as a member and Chair of the Board of Directors of Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers. He has also served in the past as an Executive and Board member of the Brantford Regional Chamber of Commerce. Peter has done his best to use his experience to assist with local initiatives.

Peter attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Math) and Bachelor of Physical Education at McMaster University. While there he participated in Varsity football and basketball. He then attended the University of Toronto where he received a Bachelor of Education. After teaching High School for three years, Peter acquired his Law Degree at Queen's University in 1978.

Peter has been practicing in Brantford since his call to the bar in 1980. He remains active in cycling, sea kayaking and snowmobiling adventures and thoroughly enjoys the outdoors in this great land of ours.
