Brian Finnigan

Brian Finnigan received his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario in 1980. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1984, was called to the Bar in 1986, and has continued his legal education since then, attending at legal seminars regularly, and obtaining a Master of Laws degree from York University in 2001.

Brian became an associate at Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP in 1986 and became a partner in 1992. Brian has been involved in many local boards and community organizations. This involvement included being a founding director of the Brant County Community Legal Clinic, Brant Community Place Homes and the Rotary Club of Brantford (Sunrise), and being a director of Participation House in Brantford and the Alzheimer's Society of Brantford. Brian's involvement in these organizations reflects his commitment to the community and his experience as a director and officer enables him to view corporate and organizational issues from a client's perspective.

Brian has built a client focused practice with specialization in corporate-commercial law, wills and estates, and real estate. Aboriginal law and not-for-profit law are other areas where Brian has provided our clients with in-depth qualified assistance.
